2026 Standard Mileage Rate

For 2026, the IRS standard mileage rates increased, with the business rate set at 72.5 cents per mile, up 2.5 cents from 2025; medical and military moving rates are 20.5 cents per mile, down half a cent; and the charitable rate remains 14 cents per mile, unchanged from the previous year, with these rates effective January 1, 2026. 

2026 Standard Mileage Rates:

Business Use: 72.5 cents per mile

Medical Purposes: 20.5 cents per mile

Moving for Military/Intelligence: 20.5 cents per mile

Charitable Organizations: 14 cents per mile
